Family & Kids

Aire de jeux du Quai Albert Ier

A portside playground on the Quai Albert Ier, steps from the Stade Nautique — climbing frames, sand and plane-tree shade while the harbour goes about its business. Free, fenced and central: the natural pause on any La Condamine errand loop.

Aire de jeux des Moulins

Moulins' shaded playground holds the essential choreography of Monaco childhood: climbing frames and swings that draw the quarter's mornings into familiar ritual. Beneath canopy and worn equipment, school breaks and weekend afternoons unfold in the patient language of scaling, swinging, and sandbox scheming.

Aire de jeux de la Place du Palais

Tucked just off the Place du Palais on Le Rocher, a small playground where children burn energy between palace-square visits — climbing frames and sand within sight of the ramparts.

Aire de jeux du Jardin des Oliviers (Cap-d’Ail)

Just over the western border in Cap-d'Ail, a playground set in the terraced Jardin des Oliviers — dappled shade under old olive trees and room to run, a short detour from Fontvieille.

Aire de jeux de la Costa

A neighbourhood playground off the Avenue de la Costa, serving the residential streets above the port — a local pause rather than a destination.

Family & Kids

Aire de jeux du Larvotto

Larvotto's contemporary playground amid the manicured terraces of the renovated promenade — modern climbing structures with the beach a staircase away. Swim, play, ice cream, repeat.

Family & Kids

Parc Princesse Antoinette

Large shaded park with adventure playground, mini-golf, picnic areas, and olive grove. Best outdoor family space in Monaco.

Family & Kids

Aire de jeux du Musée Océanographique

On the terrace beside the Musée Océanographique, high on Le Rocher, this playground comes with one of the Riviera's better backdrops — sea on one side, aquarium on the other. The natural decompression stop after the museum.

Place Anne-Marie Campora

Leafy village-square in the Quartiers, where plane-tree shade and morning light make loitering irresistible. Monégasque families arrive with aimless purpose; children navigate playgrounds while adults reclaim the murmur of community. The Mediterranean whispers from a distance.

Family & Kids

Place Joséphine Baker

A sun-dappled plaza where paths wind past benches and sculptures—the kind of square where families settle and time softens. Kids roam the open lawns while parents claim the shade under spreading trees. Named for a cabaret legend, it carries the unhurried ease of a Mediterranean gathering spot where locals and visitors drift through at their own pace.

Aire de jeux de la Place d'Armes

A patch of swings and climbing frames beside the Place d'Armes market — the classic post-market pause, minutes from both the port and the walk up to Le Rocher.

Aire de jeux de la rue Princesse Caroline

On the pedestrian rue Princesse Caroline in La Condamine, a compact play area amid the market-street bustle — a practical stop, with café terraces close by for the accompanying adults.

Jardin du Ténao (Beausoleil)

A fenced playground on Avenue de Saint-Roman, on the Beausoleil side just above Monaco’s eastern edge. Opened in 2012 and rebuilt in 2023: a slide tower, a roundabout and play panels on an all-weather surface, with a caged ball court alongside.

Family & Kids

Square Castor et Pollux (Beausoleil)

A small fenced children’s square in the Moneghetti quarter of Beausoleil, by the bus stop that shares its name: a play train with a slide on soft ground, refitted by the town in 2011, with benches under the trees. Open 9:00 to 18:30 from May to September and 9:00 to 17:30 from October to April.
